ABOUT DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS

  • Establishment: The Department of computer science was established in 1957.
  • B.Sc. Course – 1957 (Under the UGC Assistance with Mathematics as one of the optional subjects).
  • Semester system was introduced in the year 2005 for B.Sc. course.
  • Autonomous status was given by UGC in 2007.
  • UG CBCS Scheme is introduced and implemented from 2019-20.
  • NEP implemented from 2021-22.
