Statistics

We live in a world where the use of statistical data is pivotal to comprehending many issues around us. The Department of Statistics, K L E Society’s, P. C. Jabin Science College was established in 1959. Initially, the Department began with major and minor subject course, since 1990 three subjects of equal importance was introduced for B.Sc. and Choice Based Credit System was introduced in the year 2019-20 onwards. The Department of statistics is committed to excellence in teaching and equipping students to become practicing Statisticians. The Department provides a platform to the students to analyze the real-life data, drawing conclusions, and supporting conclusions by explaining the reasoning behind them.
